Selection of clients

Hi there, I found your company though an internet search looking for service / repairs to my bio cycle system. I have been dealing with Denise for the initial call and Cathal for the maintenance work itself. It has been one of the most pleasant experiences I have had in recent memory in dealing with a service company. In general I find the service / maintenance providers to be widely varied from average/good to poor in my experience, but this has been an exceptional service. I am extremely grateful also because I have been out of the country over the last week and trying to organise it all from abroad. In this context I am delighted with the service, the timeliness, communications, professional courtesy, quality of the work and in all aspects of my dealings with your company, right through to the telephone forwarding, the automatic invoices and email notification follow up. It is the most efficiently run service company I have come across in recent times. Well done. I will be using your company for all my bio cycle service requirements from now on, safe in the knowledge that I will have a reliable and dependable service. Best regards Robert.

Frequently asked questions

1How often should I maintain my Sewage Treatment System?
All sewage treatment systems should be serviced annually and the service report should be retained by the homeowner as evidence in the event of a septic tank inspection by a county council or the EPA.
2The light is flashing or beeping on my septic system?
This is indicating that there is a issue with the components in the tank or if the sewage system has not been serviced within the last 12 months it could also be indicating that it requires its annual service. It is important to respond to a septic system that is flashing or beeping as it could possibly overflow or backup to the house if not addressed.
3Does Sepcon require pre-payment?
No, we generally don't require pre-payment unless you are not on-site. Payment can be made directly to our engineer on-site by cash or card, or over the phone if you are not on site. Please note: we no longer accept cheques as a form of payment.
4Do you carry all the common parts for my system?
Yes, Sepcon have Ireland's largest range of parts for ALL sewage systems, in general, if we don't have it in stock - no one else does.
5Are you engineers trained to work on sewage systems?
Yes, our engineers have to deal with different risks every day, so they are highly trained to assess and service all types of sewage treatment system.
This is helped by spending over 2 working weeks every year on training alone.
6What happens if you don't have a common part when on-site?
In the event that we don't have a common part for your sewage system with us on the day of your service, such as; a blower, pump, belt, or a float, we will re-book the job and return to fit the part at no extra charge.
Uncommon parts such as, lids, or repairs to damaged systems that require a revisit with non-standard parts or extra personnel is charged accordingly.
7Should I empty my septic tank before having it serviced?
If is a routine service then we recommend that the tank is NOT emptied until after we conduct the service. However if the system is overfull or giving bother then we recommend that the tank is emptied before we visit.
